F03 160 Size Gyro Stabilized Helicopter - RTF from RotorScale - RSH1002-001
This is the larger brother to the Rotorscale C129. The RotorScale F03 helicopter is perfect for beginner pilots looking for an easy to fly, gyro-stabilized helicopter in an All-In-One RTF ("Ready To Fly") package that includes everything you need to fly within minutes. Just add four AAA batteries!
The F03 is perhaps the best heli to learn to fly outdoors of any heli we've flown. The on-board gyro system stabilizes the helicopter, allowing for hands-off hover to help you learn how to properly orient and control an RC helicopter. Any time you release the transmitter sticks, the F03 will stop and hover. The heli will hold altitude as you fly based on the barometric pressure sensor in the heli. Any time you release throttle stick on the transmitter, this heli will hold altitude. This makes the F03 a perfect for learning tool to learn proper coordinated turns using rudder and aileron functions. The top left transmitter button will change control thrown from 50% to 100% making the heli more or less responsive to inputs as you progress and learn. Independent motors for the main rotor and tail rotor respond quickly to control inputs, making the RotorScale F03 ideal for flying in confined areas with minimal wind such as indoor arenas or outdoor flying fields. The size of this heli is small enough to learn on but large enough to handle a bit of wind when flying outside.
An extra set of rotor blades, tail blade, and main gear are included along with the transmitter, heli battery, charger, and heli. Everything you need to fly is included with the exception of some AAA batteries for the transmitter.
Constructed from a blend of semi-rigid materials, plastic, and carbon fiber, the RotorScale F03 resists damage from hard landings. Its simplified layout is also easy to repair with affordable spare parts from Motion RC.

Air Pressure Fixed Height In addition to its gyro-stabilization, the F03's flight systems are also enhanced with an onboard pressure sensor system that feeds data to the gyro. This makes the F03's "One Touch Takeoff" feature possible. |

Durable Construction Specific blends of materials are used to create different parts for different purposes. For example, the tail blade is made of a flexible material to resist damage at high speed. The landing gear and main frame are made of a semi-rigid material to provide strength yet resist cracking, and the tail boom is made of a rigid carbon tube to stabilize the tail motor throughout all maneuvers. |
